Not Porty People and Places

We dropped the pilot, perfunctorily, just beyond the Bodrum breakwater at 2015 last night. By dawn we were in flat calm water beneath a breathtakingly blue sky cruising gently east toward Haifa. We breakfasted on the open deck and lazed away the day, reading, writing, talking and eating! We also attended two highly informative lectures about our shore excursions on Wednesday and Thursday in Israel. Captain's cocktails and a formal dinner brought the day to a close. This notice on the ship's rail intrigued me.
