Adventure

The boys have had a busy day today.  Childminder this morning, which they just love.  It’s a bit depressing when your child cries when you collect them and then spends half the journey home saying how much they want to go back….

 

This afternoon, a glitch in childcare meant an ‘adventure’ for the boys.  Which actually turned out really well.  The husband had a meeting in Kent, and didn’t know what time he would be home, but was sure it would be too later for collecting them from the childminder, and I had to be in London for the evening.  So, I took the boys to London on the train, met the husband who took them back home, with dinner as a picnic on the train.  Very, very exciting if you are almost 3 and still pretty good if you’re not yet 2.  My top tip is to strap the youngest into the push chair in case he tries to get out of it as you are going up the escalator – at the same time as the eldest putting his hands on the steps of the escalator as you are nearing the top…

The picture is of the eldest who loved looking out the window and telling pretty much the entire carriage what he could see. 

 

I’m fully expecting very tired boys tomorrow after a pretty darn exciting day.
