Fat bird in the bath

I couldn't resist blipping this because I like the title. This pigeon just sat in the birdbath like a huge dollop for ages, much to the annoyance of the smaller birds and when it eventually got out it left a horrid scummy layer on the surface of the water - dirty bird!
Had a doctors appointment this morning(I really hate them), it seems I have yet another relatively minor ailment to add to the ever growing list. They always tell me 'it's quite common for someone of your age' (I hate that phrase too), it's no fun getting older and I am not that old really. It seems that, amongst other things, I am now lactose intolerant, so yet more restrictions on what I can and can't do. Sorry about that, the rant is now over, I just feel so restricted these days. Glad I've got Blip as watching this fat bird in the bath and looking at the photo made me smile again :-)
