Morning Blossom
I took Finlay out for a walk around 6:30 this morning - it was sunny and quite warm. The blackthorn blossom is opening out nicely now and this particular bunch were illuminated by light streaming through the hedge.
We spent the rest of the day with Mrs madwill's mother in Darlington- we took lunch with us as we weren't sure if she would feel up to going out after her operation on Monday. In the end we did venture out after lunch to West Auckland and met up with some more relatives for a good natter over tea and cakes!
Dinner was a cottage pie I prepared yesterday..so it just needed reheating and some peas heating up…easy!
Whilst it cooked, I had a quick play in the shade of the garden with the dog…it was too warm (20 degrees C) for him to go for a walk!
