The Menagerie House
We had a call from our daughter this morning to say that youngest granddaughter was poorly and could we take eldest out for the day...this was arranged and it gradually morphed into us bringing her back home to stay the night!
We took her to Nostell Priory where she was able to run around to burn off some energy. We walked at least three miles, with Jessica probably doing a lot more as she was running around all over the place.
We discovered a little area we had never seen before, including this little building - The Menagerie House. A little plaque next to it says that it was built in 18th century and used as a house for the keeper and a garden room for entertaining guests from the main house. Given a sepia makeover in iPad Photos app.
So we now have an overnight guest...best go and clear her room then...
