The River Cam From Victoria Bridge.

Another beautiful day and I was outside for quite a while. This is looking up river towards the locks. On the left is Jesus Green  with a children's playground. and behind it is an outdoor lido. I  played here as a child, but elf'n'safety would never allow our equipment these days. If you fell it was onto concrete. Our knees and elbows were often covered in plasters ! Just noticed the narrow towpath along the waterside. I used to ride my 2 wheel bike along there as far as it went.I never fell in the water but my young brother did on his 3 wheeler, I pulled him out and we managed to get his bike out too. No moored houseboats then and the path was not so overgrown.
