A gorgeous day today and warm too!   Parked at Rannerdale which is also very close to Crummock Water which was our first port of call so the girls could have paddle/swim.  After they had their fun we walked around Rannerdale which will very soon be covered with the famous bluebells.  They are only a few inches high at the moment.  Another in Extras.  All is strangely quiet now as Misty's friend has gone home.  Oh well at least Misty will now revert to single dog behaviour!  

The hole saga.... the guys arrive this morning just as I was getting ready to go out so had a chat with them.  This is the first time they've seen the hole. I think that's probably eight people now who have inspected it!  Anyhow to cut a long story short they made a much bigger hole and our suspicions were right, there's a disused septic tank under the road.  They are going to bring somebody else with them in the morning who will decide the best way to deal with it.
