Dubs hut

I spent a couple of days up in the Lakes this week. Wednesday started with horizontal rain and blustery winds, so I had a good soaking. But by lunchtime the rain stopped and conditions improved through the afternoon. 

This is Dubs Hut, a mountain bothy on the hill between the Honister Pass and Haystacks. It's a lovely tranquil spot. In the background you can see Haystacks, High Crag and High Stile. I've added a few extras from the same day. I liked the curving form of the bridge on the mine tramway; very attractive stone textures.
