Tipper Thursday.....

Sun out, chaos abounds ! The contractor arrived up to start sowing spring barley . The plan was to run round the end riggs first with their grubbed to fill in the open furrow , but a set of wheels fell off after the second field so that was that. Mind you , most years the wheels fall off their grubber so nothing new there !
This lorry arrived in with a 20 ton load of 40mm gravel to fill in the big hole at the bottom of the yard which had been providing a huge wheel wash for Mrs Fs car all winter, and which she has been moaning at me about all winter !
The second seeder arrived up after lunch to start sowing spring oats. Everything was grand for the first 10 acres until the front diff on the JCB Fastrac packed in , so that was the end of that ! Ho hum.
