Cheers!

I've been agonising for days over my 300th blip. It was made worse by the fact that a number of other people have posted 200th or 300th blips over the last few days, and some of them went to considerable lengths to come up with something striking. Today I struggled with all sorts of half-baked ideas that didn't work, and in the end I decided it was better to post a normal Monday blip rather than something contrived. So I give you "Glasses of wine by the fire", which has a couple of things in common with my contrived 100th blip. In fact wine has been a fairly constant theme, especially if you include the vine blips :)

All of the equipment used to take this photo has been bought as a direct result of blipping. If you'd told me when I took my lame first blip that before the end of the year I'd have bought a new camera and a new lens, I wouldn't have believed you. I hadn't even scratched the surface of what I could do with my six-year old DSLR, in fact it was stuffed in a cupboard somewhere and I used the compact camera for my first blip.

I'd have been even less likely to believe you if you'd told me I'd go on a week-long photography course thanks to blip. But I did and found it inspiring. This blipping is definitely addictive.

Thank you to everyone who has looked at and commented on my blips, and especially to those who encouraged me from the start: special mentions to chaiselongue, my first ever commenter, TickyTocky, and Digpan, all of whom are worth following. Blipland is a wonderful place. I'll save the rest of the plaudits for blip 365 :)
