Big tides

Our sea defences are being tested. A combination of spring tides and easterly winds are pushing water into our bay. The wallis not designed to keep the sea out, just to stay standing. So far, apart from near the corner, it is doing so.
It looks warm and sunny but a strong cold wind dispels that illusion. We set of into the north Ford pottering around on some of the islands there. One particularly interesting pile of stones - to the connoisseur - that this amateur thinks is a Bronze Age cairn with a central cist.
Always good to be out and about.
