Familiar old haunts

Tricia had a hospital appointment in Stornoway so it was a freebie trip to Lewis and Harris courtesy of the NHS. Leaving the house at 6am didn't seem quite so bright but Harris never fails to impress. This view of Luskentyre is where must have camped for over a month in total over the years. 
Now very sophisticated with a WC at the car park and six cars parked there, it is still an impressive place. The dog however was far too keen on the machair, or more precisely the rabbits it holds, and did not display the traits of a well-trained beast.
A ferry getting back at 7:30pm made for a long day but the sun shone on North uist and things still looked pretty good.
