Friday

I've spent today in A&E. I wasn't the patient but the driver/supporter. We got there at about 9.30 and left at about 15.30. This is an ongoing condition - a fortnight ago we were in a different A&E until 1am. The patient is much improved after a litre of saline and has even managed to eat something. A big result is that the doctor is hoping to bring forward a procedure due in three weeks and get it done next week.

After a day like that I found myself in the Indian takeaway; well it is Friday.....
