Taken first thing just before a training session on gender diversity. Not sure what I thought about it. It felt angry and just seemed to generate a feeling of shame about being more or less ‘cisgender’, a term I hadn’t come across before. Sense of self seems so incredibly complex to me that I worry about any labels and I feel pretty lonely about my sense of self and am unable to affiliate at all. However I entirely get the appalling lack of acceptance that is meted out.
