Fulmars.
As soon as we were up it was packing up as we were heading off for East May near John O'Groats. The run up the A9 was spectacular and fairly traffic free. We stopped on one incline (probably Dunbeith) to take shots of the hairpin bend and the bay with its little houses almost on the shore line.
After arriving in East Mey and setting up the caravan we headed for John O'Groats (just so that Clickychick has been there) doin the Tourist thing. After a wander round we headed for Duncansby Head. We walked across the headland to see the three stacks and look at the sea bird on the cliffs. It is a little early but there were lots Fulmars, some Shags,a few Gullimots, pigeons, and the odd Pied Wagtail.
On the way back to the caravan site we had a look at St John's Point where there is a stack, from there back to the caravan for a relaxing whisky.
Sorry can't comment connections too poor, will catch up when I can!
