Proper summer weather!

This is great - proper summer weather for the last couple of days so I'm in a skirt with bare legs, and not a May flower in sight!  Got my hair cut too - definitely trying to provoke the weather-gods!  

Took Ollie to see neighbour B, where he was fed far too many treats, and I was given a huge pile of gardening magazines, complete with their free packets of seeds.  Whoopee!  We sat and watched the birds in their woodland garden.  They have many more species coming to their feeders than we do, including siskins, green finches, a hawfinch and a chaffinch.  They also have several resident pheasants, hedgehogs and rabbits which they feed!  

Ceilidh dancing in the evening and the good weather has given everyone a spring in their step, so much so that there were 17 folk there, which is very good going for the Hope.  Blipper Bodkin had us doing lots of good dances and we came home tired out and slept like logs!
