River Don

It was a lovely sunny day today. I wasn't going to go out and about but I decided to go to the Tilly Butcher before I forgot about it again. Since I was there I thought I'd go down to the New Bridge or Diamond Bridge to give it it's Sunday name!  I was really glad I did as it was a great place to sit and watch the river go by for a while and then cycled along the path which took me past the Don Hydro turbine which is generating electricity for the local area. The extra is an older bridge just up the other way which crosses over to Grandholm.
