Blooming marvellous

Despite most of the day involving the usual Saturday tasks, with washing loads, car tyres, shopping, visits etc, it was also a dat to soak up warmth and sunshine. While the past couple of days have also been lovely I’ve been indoors for most of the time.

Suddenly the plants flowers and trees have decided it is time to catch up and there has been a burst of blossom. From almost nowhere the tulips are in full bloom.

The magnolia at the front of the house was looking particularly fresh. Perhaps because it is at the front it has not been covered in a layer of dust like most of the back garden with all the sawing and stone cutting that has been going on.
