Avalanche

This is a clematis cartmanii avalanche. After careful consideration, I decided to go ahead and get some long troughs and put something against my bare trellis inside the fence. This one is evergreen, likes full sun or partial shade and an east facing wall. So spent the afternoon outside today. Layer of stones, compost, clematis feed, manure, more compost and in they went. Two different climbers in the left hand trough. They will be blipped another day.
