Mono Monday patriotic

Thanks again to Chantler63 for hosting. This is Gunns Bakers in Sandy. The home of the Bedfordshire Clanger. It dates back to the 19th century and is a suet crust dumpling with meat and vegetables one end and a sweet filling the other end. Made by women for their husbands to take to their agricultural work in the fields for their midday meal.
Yeah right. Mine makes his own sandwiches or goes hungry! Happy St George's day.... :)
