“Steamer” trip on Ullswater

We drove to the Lake District this morning to meet up with my friend Cindy, her husband Tim and her mum and dad who are visiting from United States. Cindy became my penfriend over 40 years ago. We have managed to meet up occasionally over the years but always get on so well it feels as if no time has passed.

After a trip down Ullswater we went to the Mortal Man at Troutbeck for a warm up and a cup of tea.
