Sandy Has Arrived

As of right now, I still have power, nothing has flooded, and no trees are down near me.

I wish I could say that for the rest of my town.

I spent the morning doing APUSH and reading Death of a Salesman. We lost TV, phone, and Internet around 3, but I wasn't using them anyway. I played some board games with my sister and then read before watching the Beverly Hillbillies DVD with my parents.

The southernmost part of town, Mandalay, is pretty much underwater. Trees are down all over the place and most people don't have power. I went outside and took a few pictures with my camera, so I might change this when I get the chance to upload them to my computer. I hope everyone else effected by Sandy is okay.

No school tomorrow. I'll keep you updated on what's happening around town as best as I can.

It's weird to think that this storm isn't affecting everyone.
