Tour of Berlin

Started the day walking to the Bundestag. Hadn’t been able to get tickets online, so went to the booking office and registered for Thursday. Had a look at the Holocaust Memorial, then back to the Brandenburg Gate. Walked on to Gendarmenmarkt and visited the Reichstag - lots of stairs, but a fascinating building inside and out (extras). Back via Checkpoint Charlie with the happy chappy Americans who were more than happy to pose. Just been for a quick drink, and now off to a tapas bar opposite the hotel as our feet have had enough!
