Treasure
The sun was shining from behind this plumbago and the colour was vivid, just as you see it.
I bought the plant a few years ago from a plant stall in the garden at Parham, a beautiful Elizabethan house in West Sussex. Weathered grey stone built in the classic Tudor style promises delights within. The rooms are furnished with glowing oak Tudor furniture. The walls are hung with tapestries but for me the most exciting contents were the original Elizabethan embroideries. Every room I entered brought a new treasure. I must go back again!
