Revision

Half term isn't such fun when there's revision to be done for imminent GCSE exams. Luckily it was a warm morning and Jake was able to sit out in the sun and work.
The broom beside him hadn't been put away after the massive "leafathon" we had. George and Jake each had a broom and swept everywhere that could be swept. They were supervised by Coco. There were piles of leaves everywhere after Monday's high winds. The boys tried to negotiate a rate of a penny a leaf (remembering that once I paid them a penny a dead headed daffodil!) I paid them some pocket money for the job but suggested that a penny should be deducted for every leaf not swept up! Only joking, but everywhere looked very spick and span when they had finished. I'm sure there will be more leaves down by tomorrow.
