And the Excitement Begins......

Today I met up with the BOBB group for a Blipmeet in Galvesten, TX; Wendy, Susanne and I explored the area this morning and then the whole group meet here at the Hotel Lobby at 5PM. It was so exciting meeting Blippers who I know very well........but now I am getting to know them in person.

We saw so many exciting birds today, but I especially loved the Rookery of Roseate Spoonbills & Egrets. The Egret babies were in all their nest, but the Spoonbills were still building their nests. (see extra).

We started at 6:45AM so I am really tired.....so maybe I will be more alert tomorrow to tell you all about our time together.
