Lest We Forget.....

......today is Anzac Day (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) in Australia and New Zealand. It is the day which commemorates all those who died and served in miltary operations for their countries.

The air is brisk as autumn light captures white crosses and casts long shadows upon the dewy ground. A red poppy has been placed on each headstone in the 'Services Cemetery' where our local crosses surround the flag pole, all but three remain unnamed.
