Photographic Poeticisms

By TerryRhiannyr

Calm

In serenity
And peace
I gaze
As, new-born
The sun
Rises to kiss
The clouds
Painting them
In shades
Of blush
In sweet
Embarrassment
And, as if coy
They disperse
In coils
And billows
Before
My half-wakened
Vision
Can capture
And count
Their kind
Disperse
To leave
Sky blue clear
And sun
Bright
Rampant
In it's smug
Triumph
Till
Gathering force
Clouds muster
Counter-attack
And
In swift
Storm-bred guile
Out-manoeuvre
Out-flank
And capture
This boastful sun
Imprisoning him
Within
Blackened
Thunder-heads
And
As day
Twists its knife
Deep
To extract
The last drop
Of pleasure
My life held

Unleashed

The storm breaks
