Clematis
I was going to blip a different clematis, but found it hard to get a good photo, so chose this one instead, with a background of euphorbia. This clematis is finally getting more established and slowly starting to cover the obelisk it's climbing up. It perhaps struggles a bit with the clay soil we're on, but it seems healthy enough. I think we just need to give it time. Lots of our plants take three years to get going properly, but at least with clay fertility is not usually a problem. Dry summers can be though.
Yesterday's hail bashed the tulips around a bit, and I managed to break a couple more weeding this morning, but they're now brightening up the dinning table, so not lost .
