Ceanothus

Although the ceanothus seems to be out early this year, the return of colder weather might slow them down a bit now, which won't be a bad thing if they last longer as a result. Usually they build up to a dramatic but quite short-lived peak. This one is, I believe, Puget Blue, one of the common varieties, and a lovely mid blue. It seems to like the warmth of the brick wall behind it.

I missed yesterday's blip as I was at the hospital for minor surgery. Now I'm not allowed to speak for two days, which is proving a little challenging, especially if someone asks you a quick question.
