Fierce bad cat!

I had a wander down the road this afternoon to see what the council had been up to with the sycamores on the side of McCaig's Tower. A couple of local residents had asked them to fell some as they thought they might be dangerous. I'm sure you'll realise that this Grumpy Old Man wasn't that chuffed with the standard of their work, but you'll be used to me by now! I was rather amused though to see that they'd knocked the head off the nearest street lamp - see extra. At least the council and I have that in common!

On the way back I stopped to play with a local puss - she's very friendly even though she's pretending here to be fierce!
