Weather for Ducks

A drive over to the farm shop seemed like a good idea as it has been pouring with rain all day.
Hadn’t counted on being stuck in traffic at Ilkley for 45 minutes due to road works.
When we got to the area coned off no work was taking place but there were three workmen sat in a small truck!
After doing the shopping and eating lunch we came home a different way over Langbar which was pretty hilly, bleak and misty in the rain, with narrow roads but much better than waiting in traffic.
It was here that we came uopn this mum and her brood and stopped to let them cross the road and it allowed me to take a shot through the rain streaked car window .
