Catching Up At A Local Bar

Finished my course this afternoon and as everybody started heading off in various directions I caught a taxi to the local city of Leiden to check into a little boutique hotel in the centre of town for the next two days.

I had a bit of a wander around, exploring more than I have had a chance to on previous visits and enjoyed the typical Dutch canals.

In the evening I caught a train to Amsterdam airport to meet my friend Nicky who has come to join me for two days. We hopped on the train back to Leiden and spent what was left of the evening enjoying a bottle of Prosecco and catching up at a local bar.
