This morning, I was wide awake at just before 5am so I thought I'd get up and have a walk in the woods. The birds were in full throttle so I sat at the top of the woods and listened to them as light returned and then I walked around the labyrinth before going back to bed.

Later in the day, D gave the labyrinth its first mowing. The extra photo shows him inspecting it beforehand. The path will need plenty of smoothing out, as it's in an area which was previously rough grassland.

Tonight we are off out to see "Calamity Jane" at the Brigend Theatre in Dumfries, which I'm really looking forward to!
