Saturday walk
What a difference today from yesterday!
The sun was streaming in at just after 7.00am, I hadn't committed myself to walking because of yesterday's rain but such a different morning made me want to go.
We walked about 5 miles around Marley. Lots of mud on the path below the woods but at least we didn't have to wade through shoulder high bracken as will be the case in the summer.
It was a lovely walk and warmer than expected especially as our cat went back to her winter bed last night.
This is Ravenroyd, a tiny hamlet just outside Bingley, with the River Aire below. Most of the houses have stables and you can see Black Beauty in the extra! We were nearly back by this stage with only the climb up Altar Lane and the killer steps to finish us off!
Glad I got out and walked, the rest of the day has been mainly cloudy but NO rain, thank goodness.
