Frilly Daffy

After a good nights sleep, we woke to a brighter day than forecast.

Popped out for a paper, walked around the longer route home....had a coffee when we got back, whilst reading the papers.

We had dippy eggs with brown toast for lunch.

The afternoon has been passed with household chores, hubs cut the back lawn, as it still hasnt rained......I snapped one of our new daffodils in a brief shaft of sunlight. I normally prefer the traditional type, but I auite like these!

Ive finished editing the holiday photos and started a collection for a possible new book.

Youngest son and Dils bathroom is all finished now, they are thrilled with it. Middle son, and both his younger daughters have conjunctivitis, not nice for any of them :-/

Dinner this evening will be pan fried haddock loin, peas, asparagus and homemade oven chips with fiery paparika sprinkled on them.

Hubs been having kittens whilst I have been typing up this entry, his team have now held on for a win, they need another couple to claw themselves out of the bottom three, to avoid relegation!! Bobsblips will be a happy bunny too this evening, one game to go B :-)
