I want my time with you
On my way home this evening, I blipped Tracey Emin's installation at London St Pancras. It's quite striking, hanging above all the Eurostar trains, the folk quaffing champagne at the Champagne Bar, and the British knick-knack shop.
I had a lovely piece of work to tackle today, which didn't feel like work at all – more like a jigsaw puzzle made of stories instead of pieces. At lunch, I caught up with some friends who I hadn't seen for a while.
Fish 'n' chips for dinner (just as well we got them tonight as our fish 'n' chip's man is going on holiday next week!) then down to our local music outlet, The Book and Record Bar, to see Lunar Orbit, part of the West Norwood Free Film Festival. It was packed so we had to stand, something our tired legs weren't happy about. Alex Paterson from The Orb lives in the area and was there to introduce the film. He was DJing after, but the legs said "home". We know more about The Orb than before – Fluffy Little Clouds is back on my playlist after 28 years.
