Auricula

The Auricula  is another member of the primula family, originating from Central Europe.  The different garden species have been around for hundreds of years first gaining popularity in the Courts of Europe and at last becoming available to all.  These were given to me by a neighbour years  ago and I just shoved them into a border on top of a stone wall where they have faithfully flowered every year (even though the leaves seem to wilt away in between times).
