The big breakfast!

Merrily chomping his way through the leaf of a rose bush this caterpillar was enjoying himself! Does anyone know the species??  Update 2020: Yellowtail moth.

This is a back blip as my old laptop finally gave up the ghost after 12 years hard work and after a couple of weeks without one - which did not worry me too much - I eventually bought a new posh one which hopefully will last me out if I treat it well once I've got used to it.

T and K and baby I arrived back safe and sound from their holiday in Tuscany which they all thoroughly enjoyed.  They went with a couple of friends and their baby a month older than theirs.
