The dropped stitch

St Olaf's Cemetery, Kirkwall

Queued in line online at 10am to buy Folk Festival tickets for next month. One of our choices was sold out but got tickets for the other 2.

Then out for a coffee/meeting with 2 fellow local dancers to discuss plans for our annual dance in September.

Lunch with S. Very good to have a chance to chat. We have had half conversations at dancing - snatched between dances and sometimes leading to not hearing what has been announced. Then come the panicing whispers of 'what dance are we doing?' as the set forms and everyone else seems to know! So today it was really fine to have a more leisurely natter.

A visit to another friend, some food shopping, oh, and a walk round the cemetery on the hill in the sunshine... and suddenly it seemed there wasn't enough day left to start working. So I didn't.
