Broken promise

...if only to myself! I had promised myself I wouldn't blip any more cooking shots for a while, but the only photos I've managed to take today are an almost exact replica of this and this one, of my first ever attempt at making Christmas cake. I'm not going to lie, I'm feeling pretty proud of it. I just hope it tastes as good as it smelt during its 4 and a half hours of cooking... I've never used the 'S' setting on my gas cooker before - fingers crossed it worked!

And now I really do promise not to blip anything else Christmas-related until the middle of December at the earliest!
