Boy and his bear

I thought I was going to have to skip a blip, but then I found this snapshot on my phone from yesterday late afternoon and thought that actually it was quite a nice one, if a little dark. It is rare that I am able to catch a picture without the camera/phone being spotted and silly faces being pulled!

We spent a very nice day at a friend's house where the little Gs played cooperatively and calmly with my friend's daughters with very minimal parental intervention. It was lovely to see. Both of them are suffering from coughs, colds and general half-term tiredness, so it was particularly nice that neither of them had any massive tantrums or meltdowns. When we came home we watched Toy Story (yes, again!) and had soup (yes, again!) and ignored both Hallowe'en and the fact that Little G should have been going to gym class - I didn't want to push my luck on the tantrum front!
