The Falklands

I have arrived at the point of no return, and it only took two 9 hour flights to get here! This is the last stop on my journey to South Georgia to begin my job as a Biologist for the British Antarctic Survey. The Falklands look a lot like the Western Isles of Scotland, despite this I can still feel that I am very very far from home, and I'm only going to get further after my 4 day ship journey to South Georgia. I am indeed one massive step closer to the incredible wildlife of Antarctica.
