Magellanic Penguin, The Falklands

Despite the Minefields around the beaches, these fellas still manage to waddle about unexploded, as you can see (best of luck for the future big man). This is the first penguin I have ever seen, and it was standing outside its burrow just next to the path totally unafraid. I took hundreds of photos of new seabird species which I have never seen (Dolphin Gull, Giant Petrel, Herons, Cormorants), but I had to choose this one, showing I am really not in Kansas anymore.
