After the Freeze.......
Last winter we had one night when the temps dropped well below freezing. The turks Cap is a tropical plant. While it is really resilient during the winter, this one night was between 17and 20. All of the main branches were frozen, even the apex at the the top was frozen. As a result, everything that was frozen had to be cut off.
It has flushed out again this spring. It is green and getting ready to pop a whole bunch of flowers. It will take a while for it to regrow the primary branches but it looks to me like the recovery is well on it's way!
