City Park

Up at just after 6.00 to go into Bradford before the roads were closed for the Bradford 10k Road Race.
A bright and sometimes sunny day but still very cold.
Plenty of time to take photographs of the fountains in front of the City Hall and how good it looks with the scaffolding removed.
Infact the whole area looked pretty good (see extra).
I like the City Park.
A good thing about a 10k is that you don’t have to wait long before the runners are back, so a bit of a walk around for me and then l headed back to the finish.
While Mr P has continued to run throughout his illness, it is only in the past few months since starting the medical trial that he has run competitively again.
He was pleased with his result and it has put him 38th in the country in his age range for fastest times.
He can do even better so its time to look for the next race.
Tim is coming for dinner tonight and staying over.
He and Mr P going to Ilkley to see a film about cycling (can’t remember the title) a bit of father and son stuff.
Nice timing as The Tour de Yorkshire has the stage 2 finish in Ilkley this coming Friday.
