An absolutely beautiful Westray day from before 05:00 when we saw the day break till late afternoon with the sun still shining on the Bay of Pierowall. I need to say now that we didn't get up at 05:00, tempting though that might have been.

I could have given you any number of beautiful Orkney scenes, and will add an extra of looking across to Pierowall from the pier at Gill, but Sammy Seal it has to be for the main Blip.

Much wandering about, sitting around, reading, drinking tea and coffee, chatting to people and generally reconnecting with Westray. The sun will be over the yardarm, at least in my imagination, before too long.
