At last

Babies...  This mama had 7 babies last week but this week I only could see 6. :(   I guess that's the way it goes. These little fluffy babes were in constant movement so it was a lot harder than I thought it would be to get even a half-way decent shot of some of them. Fortunately, they were very close to the bridge-trail so I didn't have to use a lot of zoom.

We continue to hear the distinctive calls of the merlins out back, and saw some activity. Made sure to have water in the bird bath since we were told that the merlins might very well use it.
