Splish Splash I'd be taking a Bath...

So Allotment this morning earlyish.  I spent time wandering around  looking in ponds to see if i might see some tadpoles. 

And see tadpoles I did. 

And it took me back to when I was little, and my dad took me to the burn on the golf course and got me some tadpoles in  a jar, for me to take home. 

we got them home, and I watched these little black dots, gain tails, and then as their back legs came out....

I completely freaked and all the tadpoles had to go back to the burn. 

I couldn't possibly risk them creeping out of the jar and coming into the house. 

These ones are okay - they live at the allotment so they don't know where I live.
