Sadness

Today I am really sad, as I have learnt that my wee friend Jock the Jack Russell is not well. We knew that he was declining and did not have the normal zip about him, and he was off his tucker, and suspected things were not too good. He is 14 years old, and he is riddled with cancer the vet has said - so has put him on steroids to make his time easier. I loved poking him and trying to make him run after me - I know he did not want to always - but sometimes we had such great fun chasing each other. I guess I will have to be a bit more gentle around him in the future. Still we did enjoy our walks around the parks, sniffing all the trees along the way, and running free as the wind.
